11-POUNDER FROM ARAPUNI Tlie heaviest brown trout caught in tlie Auckland Acclimatisation Society's area for some years was landed at Arapuni Lake yesterday. The llsli, which was caught by "Mr W. E. Sewell, of Arapuni, weighed lilh. and was taken up Hie lake, beyond tlie area restricted to fly fishing only.

Details of Hie lure used have not been reported yet, but tlie fish was in excellent condition and of good shape and it has been sent to Auckland for mounting.
