GATHERING AT NAPIER NEW GOVERNOR NOMINATED (By Telegraph.—Press Association) NAPIER, Wednesday Two hundred and fifty delegates and thc-ir wives were present :it the opening of the 17th annual New Zealand Rotary Conference this morning. Addresses were given by the District Governor, Mr G. W. Hutchinson, and the official representative of the Rotary International, Mr Angus Mitchell, of Melbourne. The chief feature of today's “programme was the nomination of the new District Governor. Mr D. A. TAven, of Wellington. Messages were received from Lord Galway, the Rt. Hon. M. J. Savage and Mr George Hager, of Chicago, president of Rotary International.
