FEARED DROWNED

PUBLIC WORKB MAN MIBBIINI LAST SEEN BY RIVERSIDE The discovery or a pair of socks and a white singlet lying on the bank of the Pokaiwtienua River near Putaruru led yesterday to a police search being made for Mr Charles Henry Larsen '33), who has been missing from the Publio Works Department near the Waotu Road since early Sunday afternoon. According to advice received by the Hamilton police, Mr Larsen was last seen near the stream clad in trousers and a white singlet. The search yesterday was carried out by a party of men from the camp led by Constanle T. J. Cotter, the stream banks and neighbouring scrub combed without result.
