LATE REV. R. J. BOYT

TRIBUTE IN NEW PLYMOUTH DEATH GREATLY*REGRETTED Reference to the death of the Ray. R. J. Boyt, vicar of Frankton, who died in the Waikato Hospital on Saturday, was made in St. Mary’s Church, New Plymouth, on Sunday evening. Archdeacon G. H. Gavin said that Mr Boyt came to New Zealand as a young man a few years ago. He took charge of the most heavily indebted parish in the Waikato diocese, and literally worked himself to death. Mr Boyt took as many as seven services on a Sunday. His death would be deeply regretted throughout the diocese, and special memorial services would be held In his memory.
