OBITUARY

MR JOSEPH KENNY TE KUITI, Monday The death has occurred of Mr Joseph Kenny, aged 64, a well-known farmer of the Piopio district. Mr Kenny had farmed his properly for the past 24 years. Prior to coming to the district, he was farming in the Rangitikei district. He is survived by his wife and one son.

MRS G. HUTCHINBON The death has occurred of Mrs Elizabeth Ann Hutchinson, aged 78 years, who has been a resident of the Waikato for the past 17 years. Mrs Hutchinson was born at Stathern, Leicestershire, in 1861. in 1880 she married Mr George Hutchinson at Dodsworth. Yorkshire, and later resided in Bolton, Lancashire, where she remained until 1921 when she came to New Zealand to rejoin her three youngest children who had settled in the Dominion. She had resided in the Waikato since then. She is survived by six children— Messrs Fred and Henry Hutchinson and Mrs W. Taylor (Bolton. Lancashire. England Mr Tom Hutchinson (Mercer). Mrs K. Ennion Ohaupo) and Mrs R. Bland Morrinsville). There are eighteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
