MATAMATA HIGH SCHOOL (Special to Times, MATAMATA, Mostly The Matamata District High School annual swimming sports this year proved to be the most successful ever held, a total of 170 competitors taking part. Following are the results of ebampionship events: Senior boys: W. Steele, 19 points, 1; D. Gauntlett, 16 j points, 2; W. Pound, 9 points, 3. Senior girls: J. Cave, 22 points 1; M. Hawes, 14 points, 2; H. Cave, 8 points, 1 3. Junior boys: B. McGougan. 10 points, 1; M. Gray, 8 points, t; O. Sharp and P. Carter, 5 [mints, 3. Junior girls: S. Cave, 20 points. 1; P. Tiddv and T. Hawes 6 points, 2. House championship: Kotare, 148 points, 1; Ituia, 125 points, 2; Kiwi. 103 points. 3; Tui. 70 points, 4.
