CALEDONIAN SOCIETY (Special to Times) MATAMATA, Monday A successful year was reported at the annual meeting of the Matamata Caledonian Society. Income exceeded expenditure by £2B. The following officers were elected: Patron, Mr H. Sutherland, senr.; chief, Mr W. G. Johns; chieftains, Messrs W. Emsley, W. McDonald and W. Peddie; treasurer, Mr W. S. Wilson; auditor, Mr G. G. Griffiths; committee, Mesdames 11. Henderson, W. S. Wilson, W. Stanley, A. McDonald, J. A. Dobson, Miss Downie, Messrs J. A. Dobson, R. V. Anderson, 11, Henderson, G. R. Desmond; chaplain, Rev. J. 11. Coombes.
