BELGIUM’S POPULAR BEACH. —Next to Ostend, the most popular bathing resort on the coast of Belguim is Blankenberghe, which is visited annually by nearly half a million visitors. Blankenberghe possesses a very fine beach and a beautiful promenade which is one continuous line of flower banks for nearly two miles. The sands cover an area of 1,000,000 square yards; and the pier, 500 yards long, has at the end a large palace of crystal comprising entertainment and concert halls.
