SHARING OF PROFITS
A lawyer was assisting two men in drawing up articles of partnership. The lawyer went through the documents before the final signing, and suddenly said: “But there is no mention of fire or bankruptcy; these must go in." Both the partners spoke at once. “Quite right,” they said, “put them in; but the profits are to be divided equally in both cases.”
