ANTON DOLIN IMPRESSED STANDARD IN NEW ZEALAND Anton Dolin, premier danseur of the Russian Ballet, interviewed in Wellington, said he had been agreeably surprised with the standard of dancing he had found in the Dominion. Sounding a note of. warning, Mr Dolin said young students must not be satisfied when they had gained their advanced certificates that that was the end of their career—they must go further. A dancer's road was no easy one if he or she were to become a real artist. Mr Dolin spoke with enthusiasm of the talent of Rowena Jackson, the young Auckland dancer.
