PUTARURU VALUES The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Company, Limited, report having held their monthly stock sale at Putaruru on Monday, when the advertised line of breeding ewes sold readily at rates equal to those ruling at other centres. An average yarding of cattle included several pens of dairy heifers which sold under steady competition, practically a total clearance being effected. The advertised yomug steers did not elicit much compel it inn, and passings were not infrequent. Fat and boner cows realised late rates. A medium entry of all classes of pigs was forward, and a full entry of stores and weaners. Bidding was steady, and values were on a par with recent quotations. HIKUTAIA QUOTATIONS The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Company, Ltd., report that at their Hikutaia stock sale on Wednesday, a good yarding of cattle was penned. Boner c-attle sold readily at late rates, but dairy cows were slower of sale. Heavy boner cows made £4 5s to £4 16s, medium £3 8s to £3 16s Od, other killablc cows £2 0s to £2 17s 6d, poorer-conditioned 30s to £2 4s; dairy cows in milk, to £5: heavy potter bulls £0 15s to £7 17s 6d, others to £5 15s.
