PUTARURU VALUES The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Company, Limited, report having held their monthly stock sale at Putaruru on Monday, when the advertised line of breeding ewes sold readily at rates equal to those ruling at other centres. An average yarding of cattle included several pens of dairy heifers which sold under steady competition, practically a total clearance being effected. The advertised yomug steers did not elicit much compel it inn, and passings were not infrequent. Fat and boner cows realised late rates. A medium entry of all classes of pigs was forward, and a full entry of stores and weaners. Bidding was steady, and values were on a par with recent quotations. Fo-ur and 5-year ewes made to 17s; smaller, 11s 9.1: F.M. ewes, Ss to 10s; 1-shear Southdown rams,, -i-igus.; aged rams. 20s to 30s. Cattle: Light fat cows, £ i b» £ i 10s; heavy boner cows. £3 5s to £3 15s; medium, £2 10s to £3; light, 25s to 355; potter bulls, £5 to £6 7s Od; 2-year Jersey heifers, r.w.b., £i 10s to £5 2s Od; mixed coloured heifers, r.w.b., £4 10s to £ i 12s od. Pigs : Choppers, to £2 7s; heavy porkers, to £2 11s; medium, £2 2s to £2 0s; light, 36s to £2; large stores, 27s 6d to 335; medium, 20s to 25s 6d; slips, 15s 6d to 21s; weaners, 8s to 12s Od. DISPERSAL AT CAMBRIDGE The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Company, Limited, report having conducted in conjunction with the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, Messrs Daigety and -Company. Limited, and Messrs Newton King. Limited, a successful dispersal sale at the homestead, “Bardowie." Cambridge, yesterday, on account of the estate of the late Mr James Taylor. The attendance was particularly lange and a successful clearance effected. Realisations were:—S..M. breeding ewes, 12s Od: fat ewes, 0s id 10. 0s Od; store lambs. 11s Od; cull lambs, 5s Od; m.a. Southdown ewes, 17s to 19s 0d; m.a. Southdown rams, 2 to 3Agns.; f.m. Southdown rams, 1 to 2£gns.; aged Southdown rams, 9s 6d to 16s. A iarse range of implements and sundries sold well at satisfactory prices. HIKUTAIA QUOTATIONS The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Company, Ltd., report that at their Hikutaia stock sale on Wednesday, a good yarding of cattle was penned. Boner c-attle sold readily at late rates, but dairy cows were slower of sale. Heavy boner cows made £4 5s to £4 16s, medium £3 8s to £3 16s Od, other killablc cows £2 0s to £2 17s 6d, poorer-conditioned 30s to £2 4s; dairy cows in milk, to £5: heavy potter bulls £0 15s to £7 17s 6d, others to £5 15s.
