BUILDERS ENTERTAINED
TOUR OF THE WAIKATO VISIT TO ARAPUNI DAM The annual conference of the New Zealand Federated Builders and Contractors' Association was continued today when further remits were discussed. A special entertainment proj gramme for the wives of the delegates was carried out during the day. A motor drive to Cambridge and to points of interest in Hamilton took ■ place this morning and this evening the visiting delegates and their wives will be the guests of the Hamilton Builders’ Association, in conjunction with the Hamilton Sub-Contractors’ Association, at a social in the Waikato Winter Show Hall. To-morrow, the business of the conference being concluded, a motor picnic will be held. In the morning the visitors will inspect the Bledisloe Hall and will also drive through the Hamilton Lake grounds. Following morning tea the party will leave for Arapuni, via Cambridge and Tirau, and en route an inspection of the New Zealand Co-operative Dairy Company, Limued's, butler factory at Tirau will be made. After luncheon at Arapuni the party will visit the dam, headworks. spillway and power house, after which the tour will be continued jto Te Awainutu. Later the party will • return to Hamilton and a number of j the delegates will leave to-morrow j evening.
