VICE-REGAL INVESTITURE HAMILTONIANS INCLUDED (Special to Times) AUCKLAND, Thursday The Governor-General. Viscount Galway, held an investiture at Government House last night, at which he conferred the degree, title, honour and dignity of a Knight Bachelor upon Sir Albert Fuller Ellis, C.M.G., of Auckland. His excellency also presented the orders and decorations named to the following:— C.M.G.—Mr R. O. Gross, Auckland. C.B.E.—Mr W. S. La Trobe, Auckland. Volunteer Officers’ Decoration.— Lieutenant-Commander R. P. Nisbet, D.S.C.. R.N.V.R., Auckland. Efficiency Decoration. —LieutenantColonel J. C. E. Wyatt. Leigh, North Auckland: Lieutenant-Colonel F. The investiture was followed by a reception, at which a large number of guests were presented to Their Excellencies.
