Barnolt, Raetihi. Mrs Alan Matthews returned to Hamilton last Tuesday after a short visit to New Plymouth as the guest of Mrs Eliot King. Mrs R. Kay. of Hamilton, left for Auckland yesterday and will sail on the Wanganeila on March 3 for Sydney on the first stage of a tour abroad. Mrs T. Warren. Hamilton, has returned from Auckland where she attended the Mathers-Warren wedding. Mrs J. Ward Chapman, Hamilton, president of the Waikato Federation of Women’s Institutes, has left to attend the Dominion Council at Wellington. She is accompanied by her daughter, Miss Joan Chapman. Mrs Lawson, Hamilton, is on a visit to Mrs Stuart, Morrinsville. Misses Christine and Patricia Farrer, who have been spending a short holiday in Auckland, returned home to Hamilton to-day. * # # * Mrs Gladys Samson has returned to her home in Waiwera, after spending a holiday in Hamilton. Miss AT. Mawson has returned to Hamilton from her vacation, the latter part of which she spent on the Wanganui River. Visitors to Hamilton during the Annual Conference of the X.Z. Federated Builders’ and Contractors’ Industrial Association of Employers are Mesdames W. A. Petrie (Timaru; wife of the president, W. E. Jones (Lower Hutt), R. Jenkins, (Masterton), R. Moxon (Palmerston North), T. N. Dickson (Wanganui), C. S. Lunev (Christchurch), F. G. Rose (Auckland;, A. Fletcher (Wellington), J. It. Johns (Christchurch), L. Griffiths (Dunedin , Proctor Invercargill), and Misses Taylor (Wellington), and Griffiths (Dunedin). CAMBRIDGE Mrs F. W. Skeet and Misses Ellsie and Betty Skeet have returned to Cambridge alter holidaying at Auckland.
Mrs H. D. Dallimore has returned from a brief visit to Auckland.
