It is understood that the Prime Minister. Mr Chamberlain, has offered Viscount Swinton the Ambassadorship to Nationalist Spain, says the Daily Express. If he accepts, his appointment will be announced simultaneously with the recognition of the Franco Government. Lord Swinton was formerly Secretary of State for Air, being succeeded by Sir Kingsley Wood
