Princess Val covered the last three furlongs of her -ftork in 40s while High Sea worked sluggishly over six furlongs in 1.20. i.Maxam and Palustre were responsible for an attractive effort over half-a-mile, taking 4 8 4-ss. They finished together. Veritable reeled ofr five furlongs in 1.3 3-5. tbe first half-mile taking 50s.
Esquire recorded the best three furlongs seen on the track for some time, traversing the distance in 35 2-ss. He finished attractively. On the plough Lap Up and Mia Acrea were together at the end or six furlongs in 1.21.
Te Poto traversed hair-a-mile nicely In 51s, Inver later taking 51 2-5 s for a similar task.
Miss Valerie and Nordic Song showed dash while completing three furlongs in 38s, both working well.
