New Steamer Arrives
After a fair weather voyage from Sydney, the Sleigh Line's new steamer Matthew Flinders arrived at Auckland early yesterday afternoon on her first visit to New Zealand. Under Hie command of Captain \Y. D. Archibald, who was master of the company's steamer Abel Tasinan which \xas wrecked at the iire> River Bar in July, 1936, the Matthew Flinders was built at Burntisland, Fife, to replace the lost vessel.
