ENJOYABLE DANCE

VISITING TEAM ENTERTAINED The Wattle Rooms were gay with bowls of brightly-hued summer flowers on Saturday evening, when the Waikato Lawn Tennis Association held a small dance in honour of the Taranaki lawn tennis team, which was visiting Hamilton. A happy time was spent in dancing and a deib-ious supper was served. Mrs V. C. Hollis, wife of the president, acted as host iss, and was wearing a charming gown of emerald green satin. Mrs Douglas Seymour wore a frock of floral cr.-ne suede. Those present were:—Mrs E. Otto, Mrs R. Dennis, Mrs A. McDonald, Misses Molly Dickie (Waverley), Amv Graham, Kathleen O’Sullivan (Hawera , Mary Hine (Havvera), Mary Broome New Plymouth), Zoe Holmes, Joan Cook, Mollie Iggulden, Dorothv Mears, Joan Pickering, Nita Cheesman, Muriel Edmondson.
