INSTITUTION CONFERENCE ELECTION OF OFFICERS (By Telegraph.—Press Assor'ation) AUCKLAND, Monday The 25th annual conference of the New Zealand Institution of Engineers opened this morning, 140 representatives from all parts of the Dominion being welcomed by the Mayor, Sir Ernest Davis, and Mr \V. 11. Cocker, president of the University College, where the conference is being held. Officers elected by postal ballot were announced as follows: —President, Mr A. .1. Baker (Wellington); vice-president.
