DUAL VOTING CHARGE
ACTION WHEN INTOXICATED PROBATION FOR WATERSIDER (By Telegraph.—press Association) NAPIER, Monday Charged with dual voting at the general elections, Edward William Wellman, a watersider, was admitted to a year’s probation by Mr Justice Ostler in the Supreme Court to-day providing accused took out a prohibition order and paid the costs of the prosecution. Counsel stated accused’s action was the result of intoxication.
