LADIES’ SOCIAL CLUB

The annual meeting of the Ladies’ Social Club was held at Eureka recently, Mrs Harris presiding over a fair attendance of members. The secretary, Mrs 'Cresswell, presented the annual report and balance-sheet. Alter effecting considerable improvement to the hall, the club has a small credit balance.

It was arranged to meet as usual, once a month. Card evenings will be held fortnightly, commencing the second week in March- Mrs Townsend was elected president and Mrs Harris secretary.

Afternoon tea concluded a successful meeting.
