CAMBRIDGE JUNIORS WIN BOYS’ CUP CHANGES HANDS (Fpecial to Times) MORRTNSYILLE. Sunday The Morrinsville Polo Club's recent run of success was terminated on Saturday when Cambridge juniors were successful in their challenge for the Roys’ Cup, which Morrinsville have held for a year. Cambridge won by 4 goals to 2, after a fast and exciting game. The teams were as follows:—Morrinsville: G. Spence, I. Harris, R. F ouglas, ,T. Klaus. Cambridge: R. Garland, E. Scott. E. Anderson, Y T . Peake. Referee: Mr .T. Elliott (Matamata).
Cambridge scored in the first c-hukka and were always in the lead. The Morrinsville boys did not. play as a team, and except in the final chukka did not reproduce their form of previous matches. Douglas and Harris scored for Morrinsville. and Peake, Anderson and Scott (2) for Cambridge.
Tn handing over the nip, Mr C. R. Williams. vice-president expressed the Morrinsville Polo Club’s congratulations to the Cambridge Club. A week previously a Morrinsville team had won the Somers Cup from Cambridge. Mr r> . Garland replied on behalf of the winning team.
