TYROLEAN COSTUME. —On festive days, every village in the Tyrol is gay with the throngs of Tyroleans in their brightly-hued peasant costumes. The men’s costume consists of quaintly cut jackets, dark knee-breechers and white stockings; their hats are of green or brown felt with the inevitable feather. The women wear flat-brimmed hats with streamers attached, and richly embroidered dresses with white aprons .
