FIXTURE FOR MARCH 26 LARGE ENTRIES EXPECTED % Arrangements are well in hand for the Matamata Amateur Athletic and Cycling Club's annual sports carnival, which will be held at Bedford Park on March 25, and Indications are that the meeting will further enhance the splendid reputation the club has earned in the past. It is expected that the comprehensive programme of running, cycling and field events will attract a large number of pnlries. An added attraction at. the inepting will he the presence of Mr Bill Hind: man at Hie microphone of the public ; address system which will be installed ;on the grounds to give a running i commentary of the events. Full | arrangements for Hie comfort of the ! visitors have also been considered. The trophies won during the dav will be presented at a dance in Ihe Town Hall during Hie evening.
