BOWLING TOUR

PROGRAMME ARRANGED VISIT TO TARANAKI The programme in connection with the South Auckland Bowling Centre’s tour of Taranaki has been arranged. Although the howlers will be away only a week, the schedule of matches is comprehensive. Following is the programme:— Sunday, February 28,—Arrive at New Plymouth. Monday, February 27.—9 a.m., 7 fours v. New Plymouth Club at New Plymouth: 2 fours v. Fire Brigade at New Plymouth: 2 fours v. East End Club at New Plymouth; 5 fours v. Vogel town at Vogeltown. Afternoon, 2 pm., 8 fours v. Fitzroy at FHzroy: 5 fours v. Paritutu at Paritutu; 5 fours I v. West End at West End. Tuesday, February 28.—10.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.: Four fours v. Okato at Okato; 4 fours v. Warea at Warea; 5 fours V. Opunake at Opunake; i four v. Rahotu at Opunake; 2 fours v. Pihama at Opunake. Luncheon will be available at Warea, Okato and Opunake. All cars will then proceed to Hawera, where accommodation has been arranged. Wednesday, March 1. —9 a.m.: Six fours V. Patea at Patea; 5 fours v. Manaia at Manaia; 5 fours v. Auroa at Auroa. Afternoon, 2 p.m.: Eight fours v. Hawera Park at Park; 8 fours v. Hawera at Hawera. Thursday. March 2.—9 a.m,: Eight fours v. Eltham at Eltham; 8 fours v. Kaponga at Kaponga. Afternoon, 2 p.m.: Eight fours v. Stratford at Stratford; 7 fours v. Avon Club at. Avon: 1 four v. Tariki at Avon. The party will proceed from Avon to New Ply'mouth. Friday, March 3. —The morning will be free. Afternoon. 2 p.m.: Four fours v. Inglewood at Inglewood; 3 fours v. Le-ppcri.on at Leppcrton; 4 fours v. Waiters at Waitara; 1 four v. Urenui at Waitara; I four v. Awakino at Waitara: 3 fours v. Clifton Park at Clifton Park. Saturday, March 4.—9 a.m.. Sightseeing tour of New Plymouth; 2 p.m., reunion game.
