CLAUDELANDS HORSE FAIR SOUTHERN CONSIGNMENT A quiet market was experienced at Claudelands to-day, when a sale of draught, horses on behalf of Mr W. McDonald, of Canterbury, was conducted by Messrs Wright, Stephenson and Company, Ltd. Top price over the early sales was £39 10s for a seven-year-old bay mare, purchased by Mr 11. L. Miles, of Waihi. Other good working sorts made above £3O, but on several occasions the vendor withdrew lots.
