OBITUARY
MR G. V. PEAROE The death has occurred of Mr G. V. Pearce, of Putaruru, and a former borough councillor at Devonport and Otahuhu. Mr Pearce had been engaged in business in Putaruru and was formerly in Auckland. He was a founder and life member of the Otahuhu Orphans’ Club and a life member of the Otahuhu Returned Soldiers’ Club. He went to Putaruru about nine years ago. He Is survived by his wife, three sons and two daughters.
