Within a few months the United States expects to 1 ive 29 army officers thus assigned, besides naval attaches and missions. it is also announced that three of the newest cruisers will pay courtesy calls at the principal South American ports. Officials denied that this step is I nked with Signor Mussolini's recent recall of the Italian cruisers which were making similar courtesy calls. ITALIAN CRUISERS ORDERED TO RETURN GOODWILL TOUR ENDS United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyrig-bt) ROME, Feb. 14 It is announced that the Italian cruisers Eugenio di Savoia and Duca d’Aosta been ordered to return home directly from Caracas, Venezuela, because they have completed the main part of their goodwill mission to South American Republics. It is believed, however, that the recall of the vessels is due to the hostile demonstrations at Costa Rica and Panama, plus the fact that Italy wants the full strength of her navy in home waters during the present international situation.
