Mrs Neville Ward, Auckland, is visiting Hamilton for the Hawken-Hubbard 1 wedding ami is the guest Of her mother, Mrs S. K. Hawken. Mrs Ewart Brown, Hamilton, left yesterday for a holiday in Napier and Gisborne. Mrs L. C. Redmond and Miss Judith Redmond, Hamilton, are on a holiday visit to Nelson. Miss B. Manning, Hamilton, is at present in Palmerston North attending the Librarians’ Conference being held there. • • • • Miss Jocelyn Howe, Hamilton, is visiting Raglan and is the guest of Miss Barbara Chitty. Miss Zena Hodgson, Hamilton, is at present on a visit to Wellington and is the iguest of her aunt, Mrs H. Turner. Mrs L. R. Greenslade, Hamilton, has returned home from Sydney where she lias been spending a vacation. Miss Hazel Johnson, Auckland, is spending a few days with Mrs J. P. Goodall, Hamilton. Miss Beryl Netlleton and Miss Betlinu Edwards of the Nettleton-Edwards School of Dancing, Auckland, are at present in Hamilton. After spending many years in India in the service of the Salvation Army, Adjutant M. BooUi-Tucker, a granddaughter of the lale General W. Booth, founder of the movement, is visiting Auckland. She is accompanied by Major B. Auton, another missionary from India, and after spending a few days in the city she will proceed to Sydney to take up work there. TE UKU
