SENTENCES AT WANGANUI BANKRUPTCY ACT BREACH (By Telee-ranh— Ptp«s Association) WANGANUI, Wednesday The following prisoners were sentenced to-day by Mr Justice Reed: Robert Waketreld Harris, land agent and farmer, for a breach of the Bankruptcy Act and failing to keep proper books of account, one month’s imprisonment without hard labour; Lena Clapperton. for theft from a person, 12 months’ hard labour; Paddy Aka Manu, for failure to stop after an accident, ordered t.o -come up for sentence within t'2 months and pay costs £7 Cs .">d: Bertie Maurice Cox (18) anVl Gordon Algernon Lambert (18), for breaking, entering and theft, probation for three years, each to pay costs, £l3.
