He was admitted to the Waikato Hospital. Loss of £SO Note Captain A. H. Davey. master of the I'nion Company’s* trans-Tasman liner Awatea, found that a £SO note was missing after entering his motor-car on the Queen’s Wharf, Auckland, yesterday. and although a search was made no trace had been found when the vessel sailed in the afternoon for Sidney.
