THE WAIKATO MEETING QUEEN LU SCRATCHED Queen Lu was scratched for the Frankton Hurdles at Ihe Waikalo Racing Ciub’s meeting on Saturday at noon to-day. OHINEMURI JOCKEY CLUB MEETING AT PAEROA A comprehensive programme has been drawn up for the Ohinemuri Jockey Club’s autumn meetiiK to be held at. Paeroa on Friday and r-atur-day. March 17 and 18. The chief event on Ihe first day is Ihe Ohinemuri (.up of £7OO, while the big sprint carries a stake of £3OO. On the second day the Shaw Handicap is endowed with £iso and the Paeroa Handicap again carries £3oo. Details of tlie programme are advertised in this issue and nominations close on Friday, February 2 4.
