The Hon. W. “Nash, Minister of Finance, will arrive in Auckland from Wellington to-morrow morning and will leave on his return on Friday night. The Hon. R. Semple, Minister of Public Works, will make a tour of the Bay of Islands electorate this month. He will leave Wellington this evening for Auckland, and to-morrow will inspect the military aerodrome under construction at Whenuapai. He will visit Huntly and Taupiri on February 2 8 and will leave for Wellington from Frankton on March 1. Mr George Price, of Thames, is visiting Hamilton. Mr 11. Duncan, sole selector for the Auckland Cricket Association, is in Hamilton. Mr L. R. Greenslade, of Hamilton, returned from Sydney by the Awatea this week from a vacation in Sydney. Mr P. W. Maddock, of Wellington, New Zealand manager for the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Film Corporation, is visiting Hamilton. Mr J. H. Ledgerwood. secretary of the Hamilton Y.M.C.A., has returned from a holiday at Oliope Beach and Palmerston North. Mr T. L. Dimmock has left Hamilton to fake up an appointment with the Royal New Zealand Air Force at Wigram Aerodrome, Christchurch. After 22 years' service as secretary of the Taranaki Hunt Club Mr E. L. Humphries resigned the position at the annual meeting. It was unanimouslyresolved to vote Mr Humphries a bonus of £SO and elect him a life member. Messrs A. Langley, ,T. Fergusson. C. S. James, B. R.
