GRASPED THE WHEEL
FRANKTON WOMAN’S DEATH EVIDENCE GIVEN AT INQUEST (Special to Times) TAUMARUNUI, Tuesday At an inquest before the district coroner, Mr W. Thomas, into the death of Mrs Lydia Robson, a boarding-house-keeper, of Frankton, who was killed in a motor accident on the main highway near Ongarue on Sunday, a verdict of accidental death was returned, no blame being attachable to the driver, Mrs R. E. Glck. Medical evidence showed that deceased’s Injuries were consistent with her being struck on the head by a heavy box. The driver of the car In evidence stated that deceased either became faint or awakened from a brief sleep and snatched at the steering wheel, causing her to lose control. Deceased had had very little sleep the previous night.
