INTEREST REDUCTION ACT QUASHED BY SUPREME COURT (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) (Received Feb. 14, 3.15 p.m.) CALGARY, Feb. 13 The Supreme Ceurt of Alberta today quashed the Aberhart Social Credit Government's Interest Reduction Act, whereby the province refused to pay piore than half the interest on outstanding bonds. The Court ruled that interest reduction is the sole authority of the Dominion. The action was brought by the Independent Order of Foresters, holding 300,000 dollars worth of provincial debentures.
