HOMING PIGEONS
HAMILTON CLUB’S RACE The Hamilton Pigeon Club organised a pigeon race from Wanganui, an airline of 150 miles. The birds were liberated by Mr Douglas in fine weather and a soutii-west wind. Results (10 lofts competed : L. Cooper’s 8.H., ‘471.' 1100 yards, 1; G. Manktelow's 8.C.C.. '478,’ 1005 yards, 2: R. Ashton’s B.C.C. '172,' 1093 yards. 3; W. Aitken’s ‘32.’ 1080 yards, 4.
