WAIKATO ELEVEN TEAM TO MEET ENGLISH SIDE MATCH IN HAMILTON THIS WEEK Several alterations in the Waikato team which met Hawke’s Bay recently have been made in the eleven chosen to meet Sir Julien Cahn's English side at Seddon Park on Wednesday and Thursday next. Following is the team picked by the sole selector, Mr W. Everest: —R. Skeet (captain), S. A. R. Badeley, A. Lissekte, H. Going, P. Bright, G. Hampton, P. Jordan, A. J. Aitken, E. Everest, O. McKenzie, R. Clough, W. Higginson (12th man). Three of the usual Waikato players, M. Lyon, T. Lyon and D. Morgan, were not available and have been replaced by Hampton, Jordan and 0. McKenzie. Hampton and McKenzie have previously represented Waikato in Hawke Cup fixtures, but this season the former filled the position of 12 th man in representative games. Jordan is having his first match with the Waikato side. changes in itinerary SIR JULIEN CAHN’S TEAM WAIKATO GAME NOT AFFECTED (Special to Times.) AUCKLAND, Monday Owing to Sir Julien Cahn’s team being two days late in arriving, the Rangitiki being scheduled to reach Auckland last Friday, several alterations have been necessary in the itinerary for the tour. The revised itinerary is as follows : To-day.—Combined Colleges, at Auckland. February 15-16.—South Auckland, at Hamilton. February 18.—Wanganui, at Wanganui. February 20-21.—Minor Associations, at Palmerston North. February 2 4-27. Canterbury, at Christchurch. March 1-2.—Combined South Island Colleges, at Oamaru. March 3-6.—Otago, at Dunedin. March 10-13.—New Zealand, at Wellington. March 17-20.—Auckland, at Auckland.
