Winner trained by L. Laver, Epsom. The race early developed into a contest between the Tour leading horses Greet Surprise hanging on well to win In good style. Audrey’s Last skipped at the home turn and but for this may have won. Audrey’s Last was the early leader from Dick Redmond. Air Pilot and Gey Moko. Air Pilot broke after three furlong* and Audrey’s Last led past ' the stands from Dick Redmond, Great Surprise, Gay Moko and Air Pilot with the others weil beck. 1 here was no alteration in the order croaaing the top or into the straight. Audrey's Last losing ground here through breaking. In a fine finish Great Surprise did be6t to win by hair-a-head from Audrey’s Last with Gay Moko only a neck away. Stewart. Hamilton, The totalizator mas opened on Don Walla but he was withdrawn later and the money was refunded to investors. Royal Navy won very well after lying in second place entering the straight. 7op Hand looked like the winner at the home turn but could not see it oul with Royal Navy. Tumble* came through ra*i at the top and led irvtn the straight but also railed to go with tbs winner at the end. Jewel Crest. Davey Day. Grand Dame. Concliff Maid and Our Jewel all broke up at the start. Worthy Quest leading out from Royal Navy, Scottish Bard and Top Hand. Passing the stands Worthy Quest was showing the way to Scottish Bard. Tumble. Royal Navy, Top Hand. Northern Smile and Our Jewel, with ten others further back. Scottish Bard and Tumble were together along the back and then Tumble went out to a good break to lead into the straight from Royal Navy. Top Hand. Scottish Bard, Northern Smile and Worthy Quest. Manger* The race wa< run at rather a slow pace and Contender always went wen after being slow to strike a gait. He was behind the leader. of the way and gave hit aupporters some uneasiness when he appeared to be pocketed al the turn but he came round the outside and won well Shadow Son attempted to w;n from end to end but could not *ee it out. Shining Light and Contender w’ere slow to move and Honey Pot dwelt on Hie mark losing several lengths. Winner trained by owner and F. V. Cutts. Mangere. The favourite bracket Bcvley Girl and Sandusky collided shortly after the start and they both fell, neither taking any further part. Kenwcithy went a ver> good race and won well. Kewpie's King broke up at the start and Our Peggy led out from Bexley Girl. Willie Derby, Sandusky, and Double Great. Bexley oirl then collided with her stablemate and both fell and the Reid went round again, closing up with Our Peggy in rront or WUIle Derby. Double Great. Fernbrook Lass. Kenworthy and Navy Blue Our Peggy led Into the straight from Kenworthy with a gap to Fernbrook Lass and Navy Blue. In a fine finish the fast-finishing Navy Blue could not catch Kenworthy and the Judge could not separate Navy Blue and Fernbrook Lass, two lengths further back.
