PRE-WEDDING PARTY
GIFTS FOR PANTRY Mrs B. Perham was hostess recently at her home in Boundary Hoad when she entertained a number of friends at a "pantry” evening for Miss Mavis Griffiths and Mr Stanley Nixon, who were married this afternoon. Competitions, games and dancing were enjoyed throughout the evening, and following the serving of a delicious supper, Miss Griffiths opened the many gift parcels. Mr Nixon thanked the donors for their good wishes and gifts. Mrs Perham was wearing a frock of Marina blue crepe soie, Miss L. Perham floral sheer, and the guest-of-honour navy sheer relieved with white. Those pres.ent were: —Misses G. Powell, P. Parker, P. St. Glair, O. McFarlane, E. and M. Henwood and P. White.
