TE AROHA WEDDING

MANSON—DAVIDSON A pretty wedding took place at the Methodist Ghurch, Te Aroha, on Saturday afternoon, February 4, when Joyce, third daughter of Mr and Mrs G. T. Davidson, of Waihi, was married to Roy, second son of Mr and Mrs George Manson, of Te Aroha. The Rev. C. T. Taylor performed the ceremony. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a graceful frock of white satin, fashioned on classical lines. Her veil of embroidered was caught to the head with a coronet of orange blossom, and she carried a bouquet of pink carnations. Miss June Davidson, of Kaihere, acted as bridesmaid and wore an attractive frock of pale blue satin. Her bouquet was of summer flowers in toning shades. Mr Trevor Manson. brother of the bridegroom, attended as best man. The Reception The reception took place in the Domain Rooms, where the guests were received by Mrs Davidson, who wore a frock of floral crepe, and carried a posy of blending flowers. Mrs G. Manson was wearing a smart navy costume, and she carried a posy of pale pink flowers. Among those present were: Mrs J. Whitehead (New Plymouth), Mr ManI son (Taumarunui), Mr G. When Mr and Mrs Manson left on their honeymoon, the bride travelled in a smart navy costume with accessories to tone.
