S The following are the discount and interest rates current in London for short term loans:— Day-to-day loans, * per cent; fine trade bills, three months. 2i to 3 per cent; bank bills, three months, 9-16 per cent, six months, 11-16 per cent; Treasury bills, two months. £ per cent, three months, i per cent; New York call money. 1 per cent.
