CENTENNIAL MEMORIAL i PROPOSAL AT DARGAVILLE (By Telegraph— Preas Association) DARGAVILLE, Friday At a meeting of delegates from the Hobson County of Dargaville Borough to -consider Centennial celebrations, the Mayor, Mr Raymond Gibson, presiding, it was unanimously decided to adopt a scheme to construct a children's play area in the district as a permanent memorial. The Borough Council proposes setting aside threequarters of an acre, portion of the municipal buildings site. A representative committee to further the scheme was appointed. It is hoped to secure a Government subsidy.
