BACK AT WORK

HUNTLY MINERS A PARTIAL SETTLEMENT (Special to Times) HUNTLY, Friday All the mines on the Huntly coalfields were working again this -morning -the majority of the points in the dispute that arose yesterday having been settled. The main reason why the men at the Pukemiro, Glen Afton and Rotowaro mines did not go to work was the prospect of the shortage of trucks for a full day’s work and they all attended as usual this morning. It is stated that there are one or two minor points still to be settled in connection with the payment of w-ork in wet places and some points as to measurement but it is not expected that much difficulty will be found In the arrangement of a settlement.
