POLO

THE CAMBRIDGE CLUB TEAM FOR FEILDING (Special to Times) CAMBRIDGE, Thursday At a special meeting of the Cambridge Polo Club last evening it was decided to enter one team for the Dominion polo tournament starting on March 20 at Feilding. The team will defend the Saville Cup, the emblem of New Zealand polo supremacy, and members of the team will also compete in the special competition for the Australasian Gold Cup, won in Sydney last year. The Cambridge team will be selected as soon as possible, so that the ponies can be placed on hard feed and their special preparation completed. The cost of sending the team and 16 ponies to the tournament will be in the vicinity of £l6O, and the club decided to donate £3O to a special travelling fund.
