Overworked Professors “Professors at the university colleges of New Zealand are overworked —overburdened with routine duties —and they do not get a chance,” said Professor X. X. V. "Your professors here are given very little assistance.” Motor-cycle Mix-up There were some remarkable escapes when eight motor-cyclists, members of a territorial convoy, were involved in a collision with a motorcar near Marton. The cyclists were riding in formation and, while the leaders saw the approaching car, thj others did not. The second rider was unable to steer clear and fell, the result being that those following could not avoid running into him or into others who fell. In a few moments cycles and riders were strewn over the road. Only one rider needed medical attcnlioiL
