Deep-sea Angling Good sport continues to he experienced on the deep-sea Ashing grounds off Whangaroa. Dr. W. It. Lawrence, of Te Aroha, yesterday caught a striped marlin swordlish of 2GGIb. and Dr. R. L. Sutton, of America, landed two striped marlins, of 2581 b. and 2571 b. Contracts for Hangars Gontracts for the construction of two huge reinforced concrete' hangars at the new military aerodrome at Whenuapai have been let by the Public Works Department to Mr R. A. Cornish, builder. Newmarket. The department is supplying some of the materials and it is estimated that the total cost of the two hangars will be about £IBO.OOO. In design the hangars conform generally to those in course of erection at the military aerodrome at Ohakea, near Palmerston North.
