STEELE BEATS YOURIST (Special to Times.) AUCKLAND, Tuesday. In a professional wrestling bout in the Town Hall last evening, Ray Steele, one of the most prominent wrestlers in the world, made Ills first appearance in New Zealand, when he defeated Abe Yourist in the fifth round, the latter being unabl.e to continue after being picked up and slammed. BLOMFIELD DEFEATED (By Telegraph.—Press Association) WELLINGTON, Monday. An unusually clean and hard wrestling distinguished the Fraley-Blomfiela match at the Town Hall, Wellington, to-night, Fraley winning by a single fall. Fraley’s coup was made with a flying toe-hold in the fifth round. MOEN AND MEEHAN DRAW (By Telegraph.—Press Association) INVERCARGILL, Monday. A professional wrestling contest tonight between Pat Meehan, 16st. 41b., of Canada, and Andy Moen, 16st. 81b., of the United States, resulted in a draw. Moen secured a fall with a body press 30 seconds after the start of the first round and Meehan equalised with a body press in the sixth round.
