Monday The need for the Fanners’ Union And the Sheep Owners' Federation to work closer together with a view to strengthening both bodies was emphasised by delegates at the annual conference of the Hawke's Bay provincial executive of the Farmers’ Union. ’’That pressure be brought on the dominion executive of the Farmers’ Union to take all possible steps tr. bring about amalgamation with the Sheepowners' Federation,” was a remit carried by the conference.
