BADMINTON TOUR
THE AUSTRALIAN TEAM QAMEB IN DOMINION Comprising leading players, an Australian badminton team will visit New Zealand late In June. The team will bMen.—T. Thompson (Launceston,, C. Craske (Hobart), R. Harper and B. TonkJn (Melbourne). Ladies.—Miss M. Horsburgh (Melbourne;, Miss B. Cuthbertson (Hobart), Misses I. Hewitt and E. Robert (Melbourne). The team Is scheduled to arrive at Wellington on June 21. It will then be divided Into two teams, with one side touring the North Island and the other the South, after playing at Mastefton and Wellington. The team will reassemble at Wellington for a test match against New Zealand on July 5 and 6 NORTH IBLAND TOURNEY (By Telegraph.—Press Association) PALMERSTON N., Sunday The North Island badminton tourney concluded yesterday with the following results:—A section: Auckland 87 wins, Wellington A 31, Walrarapa 19, Taranaki 9; B section: Manawatu 35, Wellington B 27, Wanganui 25, Hawke's Bay .9.
