BOMBAY’S RAILWAY ARCHITECTURE. —Victoria Railway Station, Bombay, is the terminus of the Great Indian Peninsula Railway. In its architectural magnificence it compares favourably with its namesake in London, and in fact challenges comparison with the statliest structures of the kind in any part of the British Empire. Completed in 1888, the building was constructed in the Gothic style favoured by the architects of the late 19th century. (Photos. by courtesy C.P.R.)
